Correspondances polyphoniques III, Selected Pieces for a Revision of Copyright Law

Ink, 2024

Artists are curious birds. Or perhaps it’s the other way around: birds are curious artists.

On the windows, crossword puzzles made of bird names trace strange migrations in the sky. All these species migrate and nest year-round on the northern tip of Île Saint-Denis, just across from these windows. But for the past few months, their refuge on the island has been under threat from an oversized urban development project. This piece invites us to raise our eyes, to see beyond the walls of the exhibition, and to protect these curious artists.

Produced and presented as part of the exhibition D’oreilles à bouches, curated by Léa Djurado, at Le 6b, in Saint-Ouen, Île Saint-Denis – With the support of the Fondation de France.
